Deutscher Kindergarten auf Koh Samui
Wir haben vor ab Oktober 2010 auf Koh Samui in Bang Po einen deutschen Kindergarten für Kinder ab 3 Jahren zu eröffnen.
Eltern die ihre Kinder gerne in einem deutschen Kindergarten betreuen lassen möchten sollten sich per Email an kindergarten@ecki.net wenden.

The life motto of the Thais "Sanuk maag maag" (Have Fun!)
Sometimes I wish, I could be like the Thais...
But I´ve been unfortunately or "thank godness" grown up in another culture...
When a poor Thai gets a bowl of rice, then he eats the whole bowl of rice now. I think I would eat just the half bowl, that I also have something to eat tomorrow.
But not a "normal" Thai, he eats everything today and tomorrow he will see whats gonna happen respectively Budda will handle it...

"Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer."
One student replied:
"You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building."

My first day on Koh Samui
Today I will tell you about my first day here on Koh Samui. On Friday the 24th July of 09 at about 10 pm I arrived on Koh Samui and was picked up at the airport by Eckmar, our CEO. After I took a shower and changed my clothes we drove to Chaweng, where the others (Tobi, Luki and Jan "Harry P.") were already waiting for us. We had a short stop at McDonalds and then went to the "Green Mango" and afterwards to the "Solo-Bar". Eckmar went home after we've been to the Green Mango.
